Sciencefictionfantasyauthors.com is a writing guild intended to be a helpful watering hole for SFF writers who are interested in presenting entertaining SFF fiction to readers without a woke filter in place. SFFA unabashedly embraces the rejection of the woke nonsense, advocating for a return to common sense, morality, and professionalism.

While SFFAs are able to provoke their readers to think about the axiomatic principles of society in a different way, to use new and original worlds as commentary for our oft-times misguided current one, they are not in the habit of using fiction as propaganda for the progressive left. SFFA holds that science fiction/fantasy should not be preach fiction for right or left, but simply good, moral writing founded in science fiction/fantasy that first of all entertains and may, secondarily, cause us to pause and take measure of the status quo.

A parallel economy starts with opting out from the established paradigm. That it is necessary becomes clearer with every passing day. New writers may apply to one of the big five publishing houses or their affiliates and be rejected for not ticking off the right number of woke boxes. We don’t believe that should be happening, but it is. And because it is, a vaccuum is created.

Conservative readers want conservative science fiction and fantasy, but are not being provided for within the established market. We hope to change that by providing a venue for conservative oriented SFF and supporting conservative authorship with writing aids, self-publishing tips, and networking with conservative publishing professionals.
